Use & Care

Because pretty eyes are A MUST and yes, we totally agree with you, #Ssera!
But remember, lens care and hygiene are just as important to keep not only your looks but also your whole vibe on point.

Mistreating your softlens can cause irritation or even damage, which could harm your eyes.
So pretty please, pay attention to these simple USE & CARE tips! đź’–

Step 1: Check Before You Use

  1. Before we hand it to you, we always make sure our product quality is on point, so you can wear your prettiest eyes confidently.
  2. When you receive your order, make sure to:
  • Check that the packaging isn’t damaged, torn, or leaking.
  • Check the expiration date printed on the packaging.
  • Make sure the color matches your selection.
  • We use transparent blisters so you can easily see if your lenses arrived in good condition.

We encourage you to take an unboxing video in case you need it for claims later.

Step 2: Handle Your Pretty Softlens

  1. Always wash your hands thoroughly with soap before touching your lenses.
  2. Rinse your softlens with a multipurpose solution, and we recommend soaking it for at least 8 hours before use.
  3. The saline buffer in the blister keeps your lenses moist but needs to be cleaned off before wearing.
  4. If you’re wearing makeup, always put your lenses in before applying your makeup.

Step 3: How to Apply & Remove Your Lenses

Don’t worry, it’s super easy! Follow these steps :

  1. Make sure your hands are squeaky clean. Short nails help to avoid scratching your softlens and eyes.
  2. Prepare your mirror, softlens, multipurpose solution, applicator, and tweezers.
  3. Use the tweezers to pick up the lens, then place it on your applicator or index finger.
  4. Make sure the lens is in the correct position.
  • If it looks like a plate (edges flaring outward) → it’s inside out ❌
  • If it looks like a bowl (edges curving upward) → it’s correct âś…
  1. Use your middle finger to gently pull down your lower eyelid, and another finger to lift your upper eyelid.
  2. Using your applicator or index finger, place the lens gently on the lower part of your eye, then nudge it toward the center.
  3. Blink a few times to help the lens settle perfectly.
  4. Repeat for your other eye.
  5. To remove, use your index finger and thumb or lens tweezers to gently pinch the lens and remove it.

⚠️ Don’t press your eye too hard to avoid pain or tearing the lens.

  1. Try not to blink while applying or removing the lens, and repeat for the other eye.

NOTES

  • If your lens is inside out, your eyes might feel scratchy or uncomfortable.
  • In cold weather, it’s normal if your eyes feel a bit dry.
  • If your eyes feel dry, use eye drops to keep them hydrated.
  • If you feel discomfort, stinging, or excessive dryness, remove your lenses and check if they’re clean and debris-free before reusing.
  • If the problem persists, consult your eye doctor or contact us for help.
  • Do not wear your lenses while swimming, in the sauna, or sleeping.
  • Never share your lenses with others.
  • We recommend wearing your lenses for no more than 8 hours a day.

Step 4: Cleaning & Storing Your Lenses

After removing your lenses, always store them cleanly and properly:

  1. Prepare your lens case, make sure it’s clean, dry, and residue-free.
  2. Wash your hands, place the lens on your palm, drop some multipurpose solution, and gently rub it in a clockwise motion to remove any residue.
  3. Rinse again with the solution, place it in the case, fill it with fresh solution, and close the lid tightly.
  4. Store your lenses in a cool, shaded place (avoid direct sunlight).
  5. Replace the multipurpose solution daily.
  6. Change your lens case once a month to prevent bacteria growth.

Hope this Use & Care Guide helps you keep your eyes healthy and pretty with VUESSERA.
